Upload one STEP part → free-free modes, strain/kinetic energy maps, and where to stiffen or lighten it. Open-source solver (MYSTRAN), runs on our own hardware.

Analyse a part

Typical run: 1–5 minutes. You will get an e-mail with a private link to the interactive report. The link is unguessable and acts as the password: anyone you share it with can view the part and the result. Result pages expire after 7 days. Interactive viewing only, no file downloads.

Your geometry: the uploaded CAD is kept by SeStructures LLC to develop and validate this service; it is not shared or published. Meshes, solver files and intermediate results are deleted as soon as the report is built. Do not upload export-controlled or third-party-confidential geometry.

What you get

  1. Free-free normal modes of the part (10-node tetrahedral mesh, MYSTRAN SOL 103, 12 flexible modes) in an animated 3D viewer.
  2. Mode identification by energy — element strain energy (ESE) and kinetic energy (EKE) per region per mode, the method behind the Engineering Tools Mode Identification macro, with regions found automatically.
  3. Cumulative strain-energy hot spots — the few elements that carry half of each mode's strain energy, and the core zone shared by the first modes (Engineering Tools Group Elements by Cumulative Strain Energy Participation).
  4. Stiffen / lighten advice — first-order sensitivities of the natural frequencies to adding or removing material in each region: where a gram of material buys the most stiffness, and where mass is just riding along.

Limits of this prototype: one isotropic material, no supports or loads (free-free), first-order sensitivities, mesh capped for run time. Shell-model services (midsurface idealization, shell-vs-solid checks) are next.
